3 months old!

It is amazing how fast our little baby is growing. So much has happened since we last updated each of you. Georiga's eight week doctors appointment was very positive. Georgia is 50% in weight and 97% in length for her age. Of course, dad is thinking volleyball or basketball scholarship in about 18 years!!!
We had Georgia dedicated at church 2 weeks ago. What an awesome experience. Amy and I thought through what we were doing at the dedication. Committing our little girl 100% into God hands - releasing all worldly claims upon her life with the hope that she will belong fully to God. This is what we truly want and are asking God for. As you can see in the lines above about a scholarship I'm still working through this.
We love our little girl.

First Family Photo

We took our first family photo with Georgia today. Oh yes, she is still cute! I have loved being a dad. It has been a transition but it has also been a joy. I love watching her while she sleeps and hearing her make her cute little sounds.
Amy continues to amaze me at being such a great mother.
God is good to us!
It's Amy here - my turn to brag about Georgia's dad. Chris has been nothing less than amazing. He is supportive, patient, hard-working, and not to mention adorable. I love being a mom and watching Chris be a dad just as much. I can't believe it's been two weeks already!

Daddy's Thoughts

WOW - I'm a dad. Georgia is now 3 1/2 days old and I am still amazed. I enjoy just looking at here when she sleeps - she seems so peaceful. I absolutely love when she makes little noises in her sleep. Very cute. I am already longing for the day when Georgia and I can talk and she can share with me what she is thinking, feeling, wondering, questioning, and dreaming. Though I long for that day I am really enjoying the moment. I am a blessed man!
Amy has done a wonderful job so far. She serves, feeds, loves, wipes, sleeps little, and gives so much to our daughter already. Amy is a great mom.
It was been a blessing to have Pat, Amy's mom, here to help. She has made this transition so much easier - thanks Pat!!!!!!
We love you all and thank you for loving our family.
Chris

Pictures of Georgia

Georgia is beautiful!!!!!

It was an amazing experience to see Amy and Chris becomes parents. Georgia Grace is beautiful and perfect. I will not get enough of her before I have to leave on Saturday.

Georgia's First Day

Mom and Georgia are doing great and are happy. It is weird to finally see our little girl, whom we anticipated for so long now. Dark hair? We were not expecting that. But she is as cute as can be. I am planning on telling her that she is not allowed to date till she's 30 today. Hope she understands, but she has my heart and I'm not giving it away!

She is here!

Our precious little girl was born @ 12:38AM ... Weighing in @ 7 lbs 7 oz and 20.5 inches. Amy did fabulous and amazed me with her strength, courage and determination. I did better than expected – watching the entire delivery & cutting the cord without passing out! Georgia has been great so far and did not cry even with a thermometer was shoved up her butt and a shot in her leg (hopeful thoughts for the future).

It was absolutely incredible to see the miracle of birth. Life-changing. Thank you all for your prayers and love for Amy, myself and Georgia.

Any day now!

Amy and I are extremely excited about our first child. We can wait for this new addition - along with all the transition she is brining to our lives. Amy is due on July 2nd, but the doctor is telling her that she could go into labor any day now.
We will keep you updated and post any pictures as they come
